Scott Shtofman Joins DSPA Staff

Drone Service Providers Alliance adds legal firepower for sUAS Membership Organization

May 4, 2021 (Lakewood, CO)Drone Service Providers Alliance (DSPA), a member-based association that advocates for reasonable FAA regulations in the Unmanned Aircraft (sUAS) industry, is expanding its organization. Scott Shtofman, lawyer, owner of Quad Axis, and board member of AUVSI Lone Star Chapter, has joined DSPA as VP of Legislative Affairs.

Scott Shtofman is a well known policy expert on sUAS, having specialized in policy and operations consulting. As an active member multiple standards organizations he helps craft standards that impact the sUAS industry.

“Shtofman’s expertise in policy and law is a force to be reckoned with,” explained CEO Kenji Sugahara. “Most recently, we were able to observe his talents when we engaged with a Texas legislator about some damaging legislation. With his input and expertise, we were able to change the outcome for the better.” 

Shtofman stated, “I’m excited to join an organization that is working to serve the small and medium sized drone service providers. There are no other organizations that have the reach, experience, and influence that DSPA has. It is an honor to work with Kenji and Vic.”
